Visiting? Here are some answers to common questions.

About 1.5 hours.

Our Sunday service typically starts at 10:00am and lasts until 11:30am. Expect the morning to start with a few songs, a time of welcome, prayer, and giving, another couple songs, sermon, announcements, and a song to close. Every 1st Sunday of the month, we offer Communion (the Lord's Supper) early in the service.

Following the service, we offer a time for fellowship and further engagement. Currently, we are hosting a "Q&A with Pastor Tanner" from 11:30am-12:00pm most services where you can ask anything - whether it’s about the sermon, apologetics, doctrine, or even a random curiosity – nothing is off limits! We want FBC Leadville to be a place where your questions are welcome.

Our service contains a combination of contemporary and traditional offerings. Expect old familiar hymns and newer music, expository preaching from Pastor Tanner (book-by-book, chapter-by-chapter), and a welcoming "come-as-you-are" environment! We typically provide bulletins as you arrive that tell you what to expect that Sunday including upcoming events, giving opportunities, and prayer requests. There is a self-serve coffee and tea station in our foyer to make you feel right at home, here at First Baptist.

Come as you are! No suit jacket or dresses required. We welcome you to come as you're comfortable, so expect to see a wide variety of dress at our services.

Children are welcome here!

Ages 0-3: We offer nursery during the service. Simply bring your young one down to our basement nursery to check in when you arrive and check them out following the service. We also have a cry room in our loft for those desiring a more private place to tend to their infant.

Ages 3-5: Children's Church. Immediately preceding the sermon, Pastor Tanner dismisses youth to participate in our Children's Church offerings which take place in our basement classrooms. That said, you're more than welcome to keep them with you in our main service!

Children are welcome to participate in our "Q&A with Pastor Tanner" following the service if you'd like to stick around!
